It’s just another day in an endless cycle but many take this opportunity to look at it as a new beginning. Do you make New Year’s resolutions? Should you? I do and I think you should as well. You have to start somewhere right? I make a few different types of resolutions each year. I always make a personal “health” resolution (take my vitamins, lose a few pounds) and a “self-help” type of resolution (read more, relax more, be a better friend) and then I establish some personal goals (make certain gifts, clean out certain closets, etc.) to be accomplished throughout the year. You should decide what type of resolution(s) you want to make and really decide if you can accomplish it. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Once you figure out your resolutions, you should write them down. Things in writing always seem to have more of an impact. Once you write them down, put them where you can periodically look at them throughout the year. Make them your 2014 goals – if you don’t do them right away, that doesn’t mean you have to give up – you can always start working on them in February or March. Happy New Year!!!!
